A spokeswoman for CheapHolidayLand.com, who conducted the research, said: “Women can feel really self-conscious about their bodies, especially when buying an item like a bikini, so buying the style to suit your body shape is a must if you want to feel good on the beach.
“It’s no surprise women take so many into the changing room, especially when sizing can be inconsistent, but as long as they find the perfect two piece for them, who cares?”
