Whitney Port is planning to design her own wedding dress because she wants it to be personal to her.
The reality star-turned-designer - who confirmed her engagement to Tim Rosenman this week - has already started thinking about bridal attire and wants to make her own gown because she knows exactly what suits her.
She said: "I know what cut works for me. It's something so personal. That will be a really fun process for me."
However, Whitney insists she won't be wearing and over-the-top "princess" gown when she walks down the aisle.
She quipped: "I won't be wearing a cupcake wedding dress. I won't be wearing one of those princess, fairytale kind of dresses. That's a no."
The 28-year-old star - who has her own fashion line, Whitney Eve - believes simplicity and elegance are key and definitely wants a no-fuss dress.
She added to People magazine: "I think it obviously depends what the theme of the wedding is. What comes to mind is something simple. I've always envisioned that Cindy Crawford beach slip kind of dress, but who knows."
Whitney began dating Tim, an associate producer from her MTV series 'The City', in 2012 and it appears her fiancé shares the same expensive taste and eye for style as she does.
A source told the magazine: "The ring is so big and beautiful. It's an oval shape. It's stunning."
