Victoria Beckham brought a "liberated" show to New York Fashion Week yesterday (13.09.15).
The British designer blended innovation and tradition in a collection that included wide-cut trapeze-style dresses, chunky footwear and tailored jackets.
Whilst Victoria, 41, wore all black to the show, her models walked in predominantly white pieces, broken up with bold splashes of colour.
The former Spice Girls star introduced the show which was inspired by urban surfers and her time spent in Miami and described her Spring/Summer 2016 ready-to-wear collection as "liberated and carefree".
Front row seats for her presentation were saved for her biggest supporters, her husband David, 40 and the couple's oldest son Brooklyn, 16.
After the show her two boys took to social media to praise the singer-turned designer.
Brooklyn wrote on Twitter: "Another amazing show. Well done mum!" While husband David took to Instagram to show his support of the glamorous event. He wrote,
"Amazing show â¤ï¸ @victoriabeckham."
Elsewhere, heavily pregnant Kim Kardashian West and Kanye West turned out to support model Kendall Jenner as she walked for Givenchy's show and Alex Chung and Julia Roberts, sat in the front row.
New York Fashion Week also hosted a unique show that featured down syndrome model Madeline Stuart, 18, who walked for American label FTL Moda and was joined by US wheelchair model Leslie Irby.
