Victoria Beckham has revealed plans to "spice" up her eyewear collection.
The 40-year-old fashion designer - who first produced a range of glasses with her eponymous label in 2009 - has teamed up with lens manufacturer Zeiss and a host of "specialists" to create her new line of colourful aviator specs.
The collection - which will be available exclusively from Barneys New York - will retail from $550 for basic styles up to $1,255 for 18-karat gold adorned frames.
She told WWD: "It was important for me to evolve existing styles and develop new pieces for my retail partners and my own store and Web site and we now have the ability to do this.
"For me, it is about the line continuing to expand and incorporating the best materials and techniques possible. It is an exciting time for the category."
The line will launch in September this year at the eyewear trade show Silmo Paris.
Last month, the brunette beauty took to her Instagram account to unveil the latest addition to her shoe collection and shared her excitement over the leopard print 'clown' flats which retail at £1,150.
Victoria - who opened her flagship store on London's Dover Street last year - shared an image of the luxury shoes outside of their elegant white box, which she captioned: "I'm very excited about my new leopard flats!!! #VBDoverSt x vb.(sic)"
The stacked-heel slip on, which she dubbed the 'clown shoe', is also available in white, embellished with appliqué flowers.
