Victoria Beckham likes to wear clothes she can "move in".
The 42-year-old fashion designer chooses to wear garments that are not "too fussy" and are "classic, simple but relaxed", and although she now opts for comfort with her outfits she still wants to look "put together".
Speaking about the wardrobe choices she feels most comfortable in to Stylist magazine, the brunette beauty said: "Recently, I've been wearing a lot of wide-legged trousers or midi skirts with a shirt. Classic, simple but relaxed too. Nothing too fussy. I like to wear things I can move in, but I still want to look put-together."
And the former Spice Girls band member - who was known as Posh Spice in the girl group - has revealed her love for soft tailored pieces is a style she has gravitated towards with her collection for Target.
Speaking about The Victoria Beckham for Target capsule, she said: "The collection includes original designs and inspiration from some of my favourite Victoria, Victoria Beckham pieces over the years.
"There are pieces for evening, such as the little black dress embellished with beaded bugs, yet I personally often gravitate towards soft tailored pieces - so the calla lily wide-leg trousers and matching shirt are perfect for me."
And Victoria - who has Brooklyn, 18, Romeo, 14, Cruz, 12, and five-year-old daughter Harper with her husband David Beckham - is "so excited" to unveil her debut childrenswear designs under the label.
She explained: "I'm so excited to be offering childrenswear for the first time; designing for kids has been a really fun experience. I love the idea of little girls being able to match outfit to their mums'.
"I like to think I offer something for a whole range of women, all leading different lives."
