Victoria Beckham has certainly cemented her role in the fashion industry

Victoria Beckham may have been one-fifth of one of the world’s biggest girl groups, but she admits that thanks to her fashion line she now finally feels successful.

The 40-year-old admits that she only ever really felt famous during the band’s chart-topping reign.

She told The Guardian's The Fashion magazine: "First time around I felt famous, but now I feel successful."

Victoria - who has four children, Brooklyn, 15, Romeo, 11, Cruz, nine and Harper, three, with husband David - thinks she'll probably still be working ten years from now.

She said: "The thing is, I've always worked. The Spice Girls had a crazy schedule. I can't imagine what I'd do all day if I didn't work.

"I'm lucky that I do something I love, and I am proud as I think it's a positive message to give to young women: if you want to have a career, and be married with children, then you can. It's full-on, but it's doable."

Her latest fashion collection was shown yesterday during New York Fashion Week and her Spring/Summer 2015 collection has once again been a hit with fashion’s elite.

The designer unveiled her first foray into shoe design and the collection embraced a whole lot more colour than we’ve ever seen before from this line.
