Victoria Beckham enlisted her friend Tom Cruise to help motivate her staff.
The 42-year-old fashion designer was once working hard on a new collection when her friend - who famously played aviator Lieutenant Pete "Maverick" Mitchell in iconic 1986 movie 'Top Gun' - paid a visit to her office and her employees were thrilled that he spent quality time with all of them.
She recalled: "So I was working on a collection and all the mood boards were up - and my team is in the room with me - and all of a sudden there was a knock on the door and Tom walks in, all in black with a pair of aviators, and he stands legs apart and his hands on his hips.
"He basically came as Maverick. He spent such a long time with every single person, whether it was the design team, e-com, marketing and he spoke to all of the seamstresses."
And it isn't just her famous friends who the former Spice Girls singer - who has children Brooklyn, 17, Romeo, 13, Cruz, 11, and Harper, four, with husband David Beckham - brings into work to cheer her staff.
Victoria's retired soccer star spouse brings in biscuits and crisps, while their daughter did a particularly good job of raising the spirits of her employees in the stressful few days before she shows at New York Fashion Week.
Speaking at the Vogue 100: A Century of Style exhibition in London on Thursday (05.05.16) night, she told host Claudia Winkleman: "Each season before we leave for New York I always take the kids down there.
"Last season Harper tap-danced for all the ladies working on the sewing machines."
