Solange Knowles has been appointed art director and creative consultant of Puma.
The 27-year-old singer - who is sister of superstar Beyonce Knowles - was delighted to take on a top design role at at the world renown sportswear giant.
Solange wrote on her official Twitter account: "SO excited to finally announce my new role & dream job as an Art Director & Creative Consultant for the iconic @PUMA (sic)"
She a link to attached a link to the Instagram account of SaintRecords and showed off a sneak preview of her designs with two legs appearing out of a pool of water in colourful trainers.
Solange has teamed up with Gerlan Marcel, Darlene and Lizzy Okpo of William Okpo and Hisham Bharoocha to create a Brazilian inspired reinterpretation of the classic Puma Disc trainer.
The 'Losing You' hitmaker is extremely excited about the 'Girls of Blaze' collection which is set to be released in February 2014.
She added:"It is in my new role that I am able to express my love for not only design but the conception of creative ideas, and the execution of them by curating amazingly talented teams."
