Serena Williams has hailed Gigi Hadid as hard working.
The 36-year-old professional tennis player - who gave birth to her daughter Alexis in September this year who she has with her partner Alexis Ohanian - presented model Gigi Hadid with the Supernova Award at the Glamour Women of the Year Awards 2017, which was held at the Kings Theatre in Brooklyn, New York, on Monday (13.11.17).
And during her speech the sporting ace praised Gigi as the "best" person, who "works the hardest and makes sacrifices" in order to be successful.
Speaking at the star-studded bash, which has been reported on E! News, the brunette beauty said: "Gigi, you are one of the few people on this planet I would leave my baby for - for one night - but for you, it shows how much you mean to me. And I want you to imagine the affect you have on the world.
"She understands that in order to be the best, you have to think like you are the best, work the hardest, and make sacrifices."
The 22-year-old model - who is currently dating Zayn Malik - was also credited for "pushing boundaries" and making "new boundaries", whilst still staying true to herself.
Serena continued: "Gigi pushes boundaries. In fact, she makes new boundaries. And she's authentically herself."
But the fashion muse - who recently teamed up with Maybelline to launch her own beauty range - has credited her predecessors for her success.
When she picked up the gong, Gigi said: "Our success is never just about us, it's also about all women that paved the way so we could be here.
"It's about the women we surround ourselves with and the characteristics we value, the inspiration and motivation women everywhere can give us to be better."
