The Scottish Fashion Awards 2012 were a star studded event – definitely one not to missed on the fashion calendar and 2013 is set to be even bigger. It’s time to get your nominations in.
Alexa Chung presented the 2012 awards to an audience of over 2,000 fashionable guests in Glasgow’s Clyde Auditorium, this year the even with be held in the Autumn in a new city and exclusive venue which will be announced next month.
The Scottish Fashion Awards 2012 saw International model, presenter and style icon Alexa Chung present to an audience of over 2000 fashionable guests in Glasgow’s Clyde Auditorium.
Going into its 8th year, these awards are now a firm fixture on the International fashion calendar.
Founder of the awards Tessa Hartmann said: “Every year the applicants surpass all our expectations. I think it's because of the credibility of these awards and that a win at the event, judged by our prestigious panel, is perceived as Scotland's highest fashion accolade.
“We have seen firsthand the difference it can make to brand awareness, commercial success and international credibility. So I urge all the emerging and innovative artists, fashion designers, fashion managers, models, journalists, retailers and photographers to get those applications in and give your brand the global exposure that this event brings. This is an opportunity for your brand, skill, creativity that simply can't afford to be missed!”
The deadline for entries are Monday 6th May, however this date is quickly approaching with just under 2 weeks until the application process for the Scottish Fashion Awards 2013 is complete.
The entries will then be collated and a shortlist will be presented to our prestigious judging panel which includes, critically acclaimed photographer Rankin, model Stella Tennant and Caroline Rush of the British Fashion Council to name only a few, this is the chance to be recognised by the most powerful fashion industry players in the world.
