Sarah Jessica Parker's whole family cut their toenails on Sundays.
The 'Sex and the City' actress - who has her own SJP by Sarah Jessica Parker footwear line - admits donning high heels on a regular basis has taken its toll on her feet, but rather than seek professional pedicures, she prefers to tend to her tootsies herself.
She said: "I've asked a lot of my feet for a lot of years, and they've been really good to me.
"I put on moisturiser and use a pumice.
"I don't have a pedicure unless someone makes me for work, but I clip my own nails, and I always have a good nail clipper."
And the 51-year-old actress - who has son James Wilkie, 13, and daughters Tabitha and Loretta, seven, with husband Matthew Broderick - ensures the rest of her household are just as diligent at caring for their feet.
She told People magazine: "Every Sunday night we clip nails in our house. We call it "Clip Clip [night]!
"Beyond that I don't do too much."
Sarah has a similar low-key routine when it comes to her fingernails.
She explained: "My nails are just buffed and clean. I use my hands a lot. I cook. I clean. I do laundry. [Nail polish] is not practical in my life given what my hands need to do every day!"
Sarah recently admitted she only ever considers her own opinion when buying shoes for herself.
She said: "I think about not what I find sexy or what I think makes me look good; I wear what makes me feel good. And I don't mean that's a practical decision. It's not like a heel feels great all day long. I can't think about somebody else. If I'm that results oriented, then it's not going to be me and it's not going to be sexy, because I'm going to be wearing somebody else's idea of sexy."
