Samuel L. Jackson has an intense weekly workout regime.
The 68-year-old actor has revealed he undergoes a gruelling fitness routine and within the seven-day period he practices pilates, weight training and conditioning, although he does squeeze in some time for relaxation too.
Speaking about his exercise plan on Metro newspaper, the 'Pulp Fiction' star said: "I do pilates three times a week, weight training and conditioning three times a week and acupuncture and massage twice a week."
The American movie legend "loves" having therapeutic after-care treatment including the Chinese method of putting needles into the skin to target pressure points, as well as cupping to help with any aches and pains or inflammation he is left with after his work out.
He added: "I love acupuncture and cupping."
And Samuel enjoys letting off some steam by playing golf if he gets any free time when he is filming a new movie.
He said: "During 'Kong: Skull Island' the house in Hawaii they put me in was about five minutes from a really good golf course."
Meanwhile Samuel is set for a busy time ahead as he has signed up to star in 'The Last Full Measure' alongside Sebastian Stan, Christopher Plummer, William Hurt, Bradley Whitford, Michael Imperioli, Linus Roache, John Savage and Diane Ladd.
The film, which will be written and directed by Todd Robinson, follows the story of Scott Huffman (Sebastian Stan), a young investigator at the Pentagon, who makes it his mission to get Congress to award William Pitsenbarger, an Air Force medic responsible for saving the lives of over 60 Marines during the Vietnam war, the Medal of Honor. Pitsenbarger made the ultimate sacrifice, giving his life to save others.
