Ryan Reynolds is "proud" to be the new face of Piaget.
The 39-year-old actor has been announced as the international male ambassador for the luxury watchmaker and jewellery brand, which the 'Deadpool' star announced via social media on Thursday (09.06.16).
The father of one - who has one-year-old daughter James Reynolds and is expecting his second child with his wife Blake Lively - uploaded an image on social media of himself from the campaign, which sees him dressed in a navy blue suit sporting the wrist accessory.
He captioned the post: "I could not be more proud and happy to have joined the @piaget family! I'll greatly miss my real family, but we all know this is for the best. #PiagetAmbassador (sic)."
And the Canadian-born heartthrob has revealed he has always admired the designer brand ever since he was a child and is honoured to have joined forces with the company.
Speaking about his latest fashion venture, he said: "[I've] been a fan of the brand for a long time.
"I've known of Piaget since I was just a little kid. You can't find a more iconic brand, or one which better exemplifies craftsmanship, elegance and creativity. This is something that means a lot to me.
"I work in a field where things can be cast away quite quickly. So when you find something iconic, something timeless, it's important. And that's what I love about Piaget."
And the CEO of the accessory giant, Philippe Léopold Metzger, has admitted Piaget are "thrilled" to have Ryan collaborate with them.
He explained: "Ryan Reynolds delights audiences around the world with a blend of elegance and charisma. His remarkable and daring on screen performances paired with his magnetic good looks have earned him a place as one of Hollywood's leading men."
Meanwhile, Ryan is set to appear in the forthcoming science fiction thriller film "Life", which is set to hit screens next year.
