Rosie Fortescue believes a base coat is "essential" for the perfect manicure.
The 27-year-old television personality launched her cosmetics company Nailed London in September last year, which included 28 shades of varnish with a high shine finish, and the star has detailed her top tips to achieve the best nails.
Speaking about the thorough beauty routine she carried out during her pampering sessions, the brunette beauty said: "I start by making sure I take off all of the old polish. A quick cuticle trim is always a good thing, followed by a file. Base coat is essential to make sure you don't stain your nails and of course prepare the nail for the nail varnish."
The 'Made In Chelsea' star - who has starred in the popular E4 show since the first season aired in 2011 - will always apply two coats of polish to her long talons as well as a top coat.
She explained: "Following that, I apply two coats of colour, and of course the topcoat."
Rosie completes her beauty routine by massaging cuticle oil or a nourishing hand cream into her hands and nail bed.
She continued: "A cuticle oil or a hand cream afterwards is great to use overnight to really moisturise your hands and nail bed."
And Rosie believes Nailed London is the ideal brand all consumers can "rely on" because she believes it is "on-trend" and "high quality".
She said: "Nailed London is on-trend, high quality and a nail varnish that you can rely on."
