The Saturdays singer, 26, won't allow the weighing device in her home because she's worried it will encourage her two-year-old daughter Alaia-Mai, whom she has with her husband Marvin, to grow up with body confidence issues.
She explained: "In any walk of life, you've got a responsibility bringing up your daughter. I speak to my mum and she's always great at advice. There are things she doesn't need to be around. I don't have scales in my house, she doesn't need to be worried about herself.
"I'm not a yo-yo dieter that's not my thing, she wouldn't be around that from me. Thankfully she's only two, so I'll cross that bridge when I come to it."
And the brunette beauty is already trying to encourage the little one to develop a love for baking but has admitted she's not the best example because her culinary skills aren't great.
She told the Daily Mail newspaper: "I'm no Mary Berry. I'm not the best baker, I'm Okay.
"I'm good at banana cake. I'm not the best baker because it's so technically accurate to do."
