The 'I Will Never Let You Down' hitmaker prefers to go for a bold and daring look when it comes to her cosmetics and always has a say in what sort of style she wants.
Her 'X Factor' makeup artist Kathy Jeung revealed to Cosmopolitan magazine: "The starting point for our collaboration is, 'What do you feeling like doing with the makeup today?' When it comes to makeup, Rita always has on-point, fun and playful sensibility that I love, she may have an idea or ask me what was I thinking.
"She inspires me to come prepared with an array of ideas that I either explain, sketch out or have reference pictures to illustrate. She'll pick a general look or colour idea, then we'll discuss the details and options taking into consideration what will work best with the hair, outfit and situation."
Meanwhile, the 25-year-old beauty previously opened up about her favourite look over the years, admitting it was like a "fairytale" when she walked the red carpet at the Met Gala.
Asked when she felt most beautiful, she shared: "Probably the first time I went to the Met Gala. It was such a huge moment for me.
"Beauty-wise, it might not have been my favourite look, but I felt beautiful because of where I was. I had this moment when I was like, I can't believe I'm here. It was like a fairytale."
