Rita Ora has been personally praised by Tom Ford for having a bold approach to red carpet style.
The 25-year-old pop star caused a stir in front of the flashbulbs once again last month when she went commando in a flesh-flashing orange Versace dress to the label's show at Paris Fashion Week.
Rita isn't afraid to push the envelope when it comes to her clothing choices, and it's something that hasn't gone unnoticed amongst designers like Ford.
She said: "That's a lot of fashion designers to go through that I'm friends with. I'm friends with the ones I love, I feel so lucky. Tom Ford, Jeremy Scott, I'm a big fan of what Raf Simons is doing at the moment. I love Azzedine Alaïa.
"Tom actually said to me, 'You know, it's hard for people to adjust the different looks and actually pull it off.' "
The 'Coming Home' singer - who has designed numerous collections with Adidas' casual sports line, Adidas Originals, and is gearing up to launch her 10th collection with the sportswear giant this year - insists she always aims to surprise on the red carpet and is pleased when her style choices attract attention.
Speaking to Prestige Hong Kong magazine, she said: "My style is very free. It definitely doesn't have a rule book. I think people never really know what to expect from me on the red carpet, with the hair and the make-up and the clothes. I think that's a good thing, because I've been wanting to build that for a while. I hate it when people have expectations and when people think they know what I am going to do. It really gets on my nerves. I wanted to start this impression as soon as I came out in the public eye and express this kind freedom. I think that's why people in the fashion world have been so nice to me, because they know I take risks."
