Rihanna will launch a cosmetic range for LVMH.
The 28-year-old 'Work' hitmaker has announced she will join forces with the Kendo division of the French multinational luxury company, which produce Marc Jacobs' beauty products, for her debut beauty range Fenty Beauty by Rihanna, which will be unleashed in Autumn 2017.
Speaking about the make-up venture with the Barbadian beauty, David Suliteanu, chief executive officer of Kendo said: "Fenty Beauty by Rihanna is a beauty rocket ship that will appeal to a huge and diverse global audience. We are aiming for the stars.
"Kendo is honoured to work with Rihanna."
It is alleged LVMH Moët Hennesy Louis Vuitton signed the deal with the songstress for $10 million for what will be the brand's third major cosmetics project.
Although the star - who has received the Fashion Icon Award from CFDA in 2014 - has collaborated on beauty lines, such as MAC Cosmetics' limited edition RiRi Hearts MAC collection, and has fronted the campaign for their Viva Glam lipstick, produced seven fragrances for Parlux limited, and launched a beauty agency Fr8me with Benoit Demouy last year, this will be her first complete make-up brand.
Speaking about Rihanna's fashion and beauty collaborations, Diana Espino, global vice president of marketing and brand development said: "What she [Rihanna] produces has the authenticity of a fashion icon and an entertainment trendsetter. She is really a developer."
Meanwhile, the creative director of the Puma is set to release faux-fur footwear in her third Fenty by Puma collection for the sportswear brand, which will hits stores later this month.
