The 'Work' hitmaker has been the creative director of the fashion sportswear brand since December 2014, and her third Fenty by Puma collection will feature faux-fur and open-toed shoe designs when it hits stores later this month.

Posting on Instagram, Rihanna teased the forthcoming line, which saw her saddle up alongside model Dudley O'Shaughnessy - who featured in her 'We Found Love' music video - whilst wearing a pale pink silk robe that matched the pink fur sliders.

She captioned the snap: "Get ready for summer!!!! #THEFURSLIDE will be available on April 22 at 10am #FENTYXPUMA (sic)"

A Puma spokesperson added: "The slider is great to rock with socks or without, for the poolside or hanging around the city."

Rihanna's summer style, which saw a surge in high street retailers last summer, is priced at $80 and will come in black, white and shell colours, which will be available to buy April 22.

Meanwhile, Rihanna - received the Rock Star Award at the BET's Black Girls Rock! ceremony in New Jersey - used her acceptance speech to inspire young women.

She said: "Thank you so much for celebrating us in a world that doesn't celebrate us enough. The minute you learn to love yourself, you will not want to be anybody else.

"Role model is not the title they like to give me...but I think I can inspire a lot of young women to be themselves and that is half the battle. Hopefully one day I'll be raising my own little black girl who rocks."
