Richard Nicoll has died aged 39.
The late fashion designer passed away in Sydney, Australia, in the early hours of Friday morning (21.10.16), and is believed to have died from a sudden heart attack, according to Vogue.co.uk.
It has been reported emergency services were called to his apartment in Australia's Kings Cross district and rushed him off to St Vincent's hospital where he allegedly died.
However, the police are reportedly not treating Richard's sudden death as suspicious.
The former Topshop creative mastermind - who founded his eponymous fashion label and made his designs made their debut appearance at London Fashion Week in February 2006 - recently decided to put his namesake brand on hold to return to Australia.
Richard boasted a successful career at the helm of the fashion industry ever since he completed his Ma at Central Saint Martins in womenswear in 2002, which saw him go on to work with fashion houses such as Marc Jacobs, Louis Vuitton, Fred Perry and Cerruti.
Richard was also set to begin on a number of projects and was in the midst of taking over as creative director at Adidas in Germany in the new year.
But his talent as a designer has not gone unnoticed, as a number of celebrity clientele have paid tribute to the star.
The 40-year-old singer and Spice Girl band member, Emma Bunton, took to social media to pay her respects to the late style muse.
She wrote: "Spice Girl Emma Bunton said: "Such sad news about Richard Nicoll, I met him way back when he was at central saint martins, a beautiful soul. Thinking of his loved ones. (sic)."
Whilst fellow musician Lily Allen has admitted she feels "privileged" to have known Richard.
She wrote: "Really sad to hear about the passing of Richard Nicholl. Privileged to have known him and to have worn many of his beautiful creations. (sic)."
