Raf Simons is rumoured to be in line to become Calvin Klein's sole creative director.

Following Francisco Costa, 51, the brand's womenswear creative director, and Italo Zucchelli, who holds the same title for menswear, departure from the designer label on Tuesday (19.04.16), it is alleged the Belgian fashion designer is rumoured to unify the fashion house in a "creative strategy", which will combine all factions of the brand together and overseen by the one sole figure.
However, the 48-year-old former maestro behind Christian Dior creations - who left the fashion house in October 2015 - has yet been confirmed as Francisco and Italo's replacement, and is believed to be in a non-compete with LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton, which will end this summer.
A spokesperson for Calvin Klein said: "An announcement will be made in due course."
The company's reshuffle has stemmed from the reacquisition of its denim garments and lingerie trends three years ago, but the retirement of the Brazilian and Italian inventors fills the company's CEO with optimism for the luxury label's future.
Speaking to WWD magazine about Calvin Klein's restructuring, Steve Shiffman, CEO of Calvin Klein said: "This creative strategy marks the beginning of another significant chapter in Calvin Klein's brand legacy since Mr. Klein's retirement.
"I would like to thank Francisco and Italo for their unwavering commitment to the Calvin Klein brand and their accomplishments over the past decade. They have both contributed immensely to making Calvin Klein a global leader in the fashion industry."
