Raf Simons will be followed in a new documentary.
'Dior and I' sees the label's creative director invite a film crew into its headquarters to document the creation of his debut couture collection for the French fashion house, and is scheduled to air at the Tribeca Film Festival next month as part of World Documentary competition.
The Frédéric Tcheng-directed film will lift the lid on the inner workings of the label and Raf's "dedicated, charming" collaborators in their race to produce the collection over an eight week period instead of the usual four to five months.
Dior is the latest designer to open its doors to a camera crew as Karl Largerfeld, Caroline Roitfeld and Valentino have all captured their creative process on film over the years.
Meanwhile, Raf injected a pop of colour to the catwalk with a series of winter brights at Dior's Autumn/Winter 2014 show during Paris Fashion Week.
The youthful designs featured in the 'City Lights' collection offered up modern silhouettes for what the designer called "a new woman."
Describing the collection, he said: "I wanted to present women with freedom and possibilities in the way they dress."
