Raf Simons sought advice from Jennifer Lawrence while shooting 'Dior and I'.
Christian Dior's creative director turned to the 'Hunger Games' actress when filming the upcoming documentary about the fashion house, but admits they didn't always see eye to eye throughout the production process.
Raf told WWD: "She said she looks at things very technically, when she looks at a film she's in, but it was not the case for me at all. It's all about emotion. It's not about how it's cut and all that."
Jennifer has been a spokesmodel for the high-end brand since 2012 and reportedly signed a three-year contract with them earlier this year.
The documentary - which will premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival this month - followed Raf as he started his role at the French fashion house and during the build up to his debut couture show in July 2012.
The designer admits he was sceptical about the project to begin with, but is happy with the way the company has been represented in the film.
He added: "Indeed, I was not too keen on it actually, if you want to know the truth. You know, it's scary and it would be a lot for people who are not actors because it has nothing to do with acting."
"There was an enormous intimacy in the movie, which I think is also present in Dior, in the company. In the building, there was a strong kind of family feel."
