Helen Mirren has slammed Primark for being immoral saying she would never wear any of their clothes.
The actress was speaking out at this week's Paris Couture Fashion Week, reports Catwalk Queen.
"I won't buy from Primark. It's tempting, but immoral," she said, whilst checking out the latest Christian Lacroix couture collection. "I'd rather go to jumble sales and buy secondhand than buy slave-labour clothes."
Dame Helen is not alone with many people now taking a stand against child labour and looking at eco-friendly ways to look stylish.
"I make my own clothes, because I never found the kinds of things I liked," said Helen. "My mother taught me how to work a sleeve and make a placket. Of course, those were the pre-Primark days," she added.
