Preen has unveiled its first ever childrenswear collection.
The London-based brand - of which Kristen Stewart and Michelle Obama are fans - will unveil a collection of clothes for young children to be launched exclusively at Selfridges on Saturday (25.01.14).
Justin Thornton - who helms the brand alongside his wife Thea Bregazzi - said: "We have two daughters - one-year-old Blythe and Fauve, who's five - and we just wanted to shrink our adult clothing down to mini versions."
The couple even used their two children as models to create the perfect fit for the clothes when experimenting with new designs, which have been a work in progress since July 2010.
Justin added to Vogue.co.uk: "Getting the fit took a while, but we have a very willing fittings model at home! The best was seeing how absolutely adorable our designs look in miniature."
Parents can choose from a range of shirtdresses, hoodies and skirts - which all feature floral prints from the label's mainline resort 2014 collection - in addition to cocoon coats in shades such as powder blue.
The designer duo are excited about their new foray into childrenswear, with Thea gushing: "We just love seeing well-dressed happy children, so to see little girls in our designs will be amazing."
Meanwhile, Preen eyewear arrives in stores next month, ahead of its debut footwear line, which launches for autumn/winter 2014.
