Oscar de la Renta is reportedly looking for a new creative director.
The 81-year-old designer is looking for someone to join his label which he launched back in 1965 and has a few people in mind who he is considering for the coveted role.
According to the New York Post newspaper, Olivier Theyskens - who has previously worked with Rochas, Nina Ricci, and Theory - and Prabal Gurung are in the line up, while Jason Wu was also a contender before he took the post of creative director at Hugo Boss last year.
Last year, Oscar de la Renta extended an offer to John Galliano after his anti-Semitic comments in 2011 saw his career move in a downward spiral.
They worked in his New York City studio to help create a collection ahead of showing at New York Fashion Week in February and it is believed they have also been in talks for a more permanent position within the company.
However, it is said they couldn't reach an agreement over the money required to employ John's preferred atelier team.
