Olivier Rousteing posed for photographs with fans at the launch of Balmain x H&M collection in Paris today (05.11.15).
The fashion designer snuck in through the back door of the H&M store on the Avenue des Champs-Elysées before opening hours, "for security reasons", after haute couture fashion house Balmain teased shoppers on Twitter yesterday when they wrote "@ORousteing will visit an undisclosed @hm store in Paris at 8am".
One lucky fan waited in line since 2 p.m. the previous day and was able to grab a selfie with Rousteing before he posed with a "squad" of models, who wore pieces from the affordable line.
Meanwhile, Balmain kept fans updated and welcomed them to the launch of the highly anticipated collection via Twitter.
They penned: "The #HMBALMAINATION squad is welcoming you to the @hm store on the Champs Elysées.
"@ORousteing has arrived at the @hm Champs Elysées store, live updates on Balmain Snapchat #HMBALMAINATION (sic)"
Elsewhere in London, thousands of eager fashionistas camped in the rain outside the Oxford Street branch of H&M for up to 48 hours.
Shoppers were let into the store in groups and given a maximum of six minutes to wiz through the rails and grab whatever they could from the 110 piece collection.
A black beaded jacket, which has been modelled by Kendall Jenner, and glitzy beaded dress priced at £399, modelled by Jourdan Dunn, were just some of the sought after pieces.
