Nicole Scherzinger forces herself to hit the gym.
The 36-year-old singer has confessed getting herself to the gym is getting harder as she gets older and she often has to push herself to put in the hours in order to maintain her impressive slim figure.
She explained: "I'm like any woman; my weight fluctuates up and down. I have good days and bad days.
"For many years I worked out every single day, but now I'm in my thirties it's like pulling teeth. I gotta make myself work out; you need to find that balance."
However, the former Pussycat Doll - who is currently starring in the West End production of Andrew Lloyd Webber's 'Cats' in London - insists staying slender isn't the only reason she hits the gym and credits a good work out session for giving her "emotional and mental strength".
She explained to Cosmopolitan Body: "[Exercise] changes everything about how I approach my day and helps me go about life with confidence.
"It gives me clarity and makes me feel stronger. It's not so much for the physical and vanity side of it. I do it more for the emotional and mental strength it gives me."
