Michelle Keegan believes "simplicity is the key".
The 29-year-old actress has revealed she has had her fair share of over the top outfits and unusual styling when she was younger, but the brunette beauty believes she has changed her ways as she now "prefers" to wear a "simple" outfit and paired back make-up.
Speaking exclusively to BANG Showbiz about her style evolution, Michelle - who married husband Mark Wright in 2015 - said: "I can't think of the biggest [fashion] regret. Don't get me wrong there's been a few, but I can't think of one that stands out. I'm sure there's been red carpet looks in the past where I've gone so OTT with my hair, the make-up, the dress, that I wouldn't do now. You're just new to it all and I just didn't know what was right and what was wrong at the time, and I was young at the time so I thought the bigger the better; the bigger the hair the better, the more make-up the better, the dress.
"And I always think now simplicity is the key. I prefer to wear a very simple outfit now and my hair to be simple, make-up to be very simple, and I think that comes across better in pictures."
And the former 'Coronation Street' star - who was known for playing the role of Tina McIntyre in the longstanding ITV soap - has revealed her mood changes depending on the garments she wears because she doesn't feel "confident" or comfortable when she goes "all out" with her wardrobe choices.
The brunette beauty - who has recently launched her Autumn/ Winter 2016 collection for Lipsy London - explained: "How I feel when I'm wearing them [something simple] I feel more like me, whereas if I go all out I don't feel like me and I don't feel confident then and I think that shows."
