Melanie Brown has stolen some of former bandmate, Victoria Beckham's thunder, by taking to the runway and modelling at New York Fashion Week.
The ex- Spice Girl modelled for underwear giants, Ultimo at the city's historic Metropolitan Pavilion yesterday.
The reception she received indicates how well she is doing in the states, after a successful stint on Dancing With the Stars last Christmas, she is quickly catching up to Victoria in the fame stakes.
Mel has also been invited to a number of prestigious events in the coming months, supporting US Presidential candidate Barack Obama.
Michelle Mone, 36, co-founder of MJM International and creator of Ultimo, said: "The show was a huge success and Mel looked incredible.
"The auditorium was jam-packed and everyone was really impressed with the collection, so I couldn't be happier. I just can't believe itâs all over!"
