Mary Katrantzou and her beautiful collections have gone from strength to strength over the seasons, and we hardly expect it to slow down anytime soon.
She creates beautiful designs that women clamour to wear, as they’re beautifully structured and the bold prints are sure to get you noticed.
But the Greek-born designer admits she hasn’t always known so much about fashion.
Mary studied a Fashion MA at London’s Central Saint Martins, but a lack of knowledge about the industry helped fuel her success, according to her.
She told Vogue.co.uk: "I felt I was doing a lot of catching up and self-exploration [when I was at CSM] with people who'd wanted to be a designer since the age of 14.
"You go into it a little blind-folded which makes it better as otherwise you have an abstract sense of perfection. Not having any pre-conceived notions helped."
The designer established her eponymous label six years ago and surprises us that she was worried she would struggle to find inspiration for her colourful creations.
She said: Every step you take you need to re-asses where you're going. You do evolve. I'm not as scared as when I first started - I thought I would run out of ideas.
"I understand more about myself than when I started. Back then a shift dress with a print had to do all of the work."
This week her latest collection was unveiled, a collaboration with Adidas Originals. A beautiful collection that's sure to get us running to the gym.
