Mary-Kate Olsen joked she learned how to brushed her hair last week.
The star - who recently got engaged to her partner of two years, Olivier Sarkozy - has poked fun at herself by joking that her fashion and beauty skills may not be as advanced as people might think.
Speaking to US Elle magazine, she said: "You know, the truth is I feel like I just learned how to brush my hair like last week!"
Her twin, Ashley, stretched her talents and attempted to chop her pal's long hair but admits she had to enlist the help of professional to add the finishing touches and clean up the look.
She explained: "My friend actually also made me cut her hair the other day and that didn't look too bad either.
"She had long hair, too. It was down to here [salutes to her belly button] and I cut it up to here [points to just below her shoulder]. She made me do it, but it looks great. I made it a blunt, A-line haircut. And then we had a professional come in after and clean it up a bit! But it was pretty good on its own."
