Maria Sharapova wants to start her own fashion and beauty lines.
The tennis pro has just launched her debut sweets range called Sugarpova for department store Selfridges, and hopes to expand the brand in the future by branching out into the fashion world.
She told Vogue.co.uk: "I really do [want to expand]. I see it going into cosmetics, and then fashion. Creatively, I've always had a thing for fashion, so I would love it. But that's down the line."
While 26-year-old Russian star admits her personal style is quite classic as she usually sticks to simple, well-tailored pieces, she thinks it's important to have fun with clothes and to be able to express yourself through accessories and bold colours.
Maria explained: "It's very individual, that's what I love about it. It's very experimental - people can express their own style and personality through their clothing and accessories.
"What I love about [fashion] is that there are no rules. That's what makes it fun. On a day-to-day basis my style is pretty casual.
"Overall I think my style is pretty elegant - I pay a lot of attention to the details in clothes. I think the material and the tailoring really make an outfit."
