Made in Chelsea’s Phoebe Lettice fashion collaboration with Illustrated People

Phoebe Lettice has left the bitchiness of Made in Chelsea behind and teamed up with Illustrated People for fashion collaboration.

Phoebe first hit our screens early in 2013 on E4's BAFTA Award winning series, Made In Chelsea. During series 5 & 6 Phoebe was a controversial new member with plenty of spats on the show, but of course all done with style and flair.

Phoebe has been working in the fashion industry for years, enjoying a successful career working as both a photographer and fashion Assistant with variety of people such as; Grace Coddington, Annie Lebovitz, Mario Testino. She has now channelled her creativity into designing for East London label, Illustrated People.

The inspiration behind Phoebe’s debut collection, PHOEBE X ILLUSTRATED PEOPLE, stems from her fascination of the vibrant Tokyo fashion scene.

Phoebe was inspired with the way Harajuku girls approach fashion as a method of limitless self-expression. The 'Kawaii' (meaning ‘cute’) is a distinct Japanese theme and in order to capture this the Phoebe-Lettice Thompson X Illustrated People collection juxtaposes grotesque iconography such as bloody eyeballs with pretty pastels.
