The monthly pop-up will take place at the Old Granada Studios

Following the successful debut of Love Fashion: Manchester last Autumn as part of Vogue Fashions Night Out, the indie pop-up Fashion Festival returns with a monthly residency at the Old Granada Studios.

On Saturday 26th April from 11am – 5pm, visitors can experience an eclectic and exciting mix of fresh and unique designers, up and coming brands, fashion graduates and online boutiques at the shopping event that reaffirms the city’s credentials as a hotbed of design talent. Featuring 30 pop up shops, fashion lovers and trend seekers will be able to treat themselves to unique and creative gifts, clothing, including childrenswear, and accessories from the iconic location of Manchester’s newest Arts & Cultural Space at the former Coronation Street studios.

Nikki Kitchen, MD at Purple Riot, the marketing agency behind the event says: “As a platform for emerging fashion designers and independent brands, Love fashion: Manchester exceeded our expectations at Vogue Fashions Night Out by demonstrating the exceptional creative design talent this city has to offer. We’re very proud to have been asked to produce the event on a monthly basis at the Old Granada Studios, an iconic Manchester institution!’

There will be two scheduled catwalk shows running throughout the day showcasing entrance collections and key summer looks, to the sounds of Manchester DJ’s Remake Remodel, who will be taking to the decks providing the background for festival.

Just some of the brands on show include the Masato Studio Boutique, with bespoke and unique designs from limited edition bi-monthly T-shirts to seasonally stunning dresses; Award-winning ethical fashion designer Mia Nisbet, whose ethical range includes upcycled clothing merging Malawian textiles and recycled western materials. Fluke Kids, hailing from the North of England bring their quintessentially British childrenswear inspired by old school heritage, and beautiful handmade leather, textile handbags and accessories by designer Luna Amani.

Model scouts from agency Cliché will also be scoping out the crowds for the next Jordan Dunn or Cara Delevigne to join their books, and appear at the next Love Fashion: Manchester show.

Visitors can enter a draw to win a piece from each of the featured designers by uploading a selfie taken at the event to Facebook , Twitter or Instagram with the hashtag #LoveFashionMCR.

The Love Fashion: Manchester pop-up emporium begins on Saturday 26th April from 11am – 5pm at The Old Granada studios and will run the fourth Saturday of every month. Entrance is free.
