Lorraine Kelly knows there are no "quick fixes" when it comes to losing weight.
The 56-year-old television presenter recently released fitness DVD 'Lorraine: Living To The Max', and feels more confident than ever before thanks to working alongside trainer Maxine Jones.
She said: "'I'm in better shape than ever. I've got a waist now, I can show my upper arms off for the first time in years.
"There are no quick fixes but with the DVD, you do start noticing a difference from the start.
"I work out two or three times a week, in 20 minute sections. I go to classes in a church hall and it costs seven pounds each time. It's the best investment. I also walk everywhere.
"There's no chance for me to go out dancing now, so this class is fun, like being out in a nightclub. I'm keeping it real."
With a new year, there are always a host of new celebrity fitness DVDs released. 2016 has seen offerings from Davina McCall, 'Geordie Shore' star Charlotte Crosby and former 'The Only Way is Essex' star Lauren Goodger.
But Lorraine insists her DVD is much more realistic than her celebrity competitors'.
She added to MailOnline: "Ours is more realistic and it's fun. My workout DVD is different to any other on the market in that it's like a class. It's hot, sweaty, fun and there's a really good energy."
