It was a subdued setting for the PPQ catwalk, with candlelight allowing for an eerie feel, and handsome ushers dressed in Topman alluring you to your seat.
The collection had a tropical feel, with flower prints in dark hues being shown.
The PPQ woman flaunts flora and fauna for Spring Summer 14.
Her evenings take shape in Heady toxic hues of deep purple, crushed red and stamen yellow.
Herbaceous prints race on taffetas that envelope and consume while chiffon s and rain washed crepe drape and accent the body in silhouettes that tighten the waist and fall to the floor.
Bardot necklines ensure there is a feminine touch even to the darker looks shown.
Of course there was a splattering of the house signature polka dots, matching printed items once again show that this trend has yet to disappear.
Mascotte, a new footwear brand to the UK, collaborated with PPQ on a new style of shoe for the show.
Mascotte says: "We are absolutely thrilled wi the gorgeous shows, which PPQ has designed for Mascotte.
"The glamorous sandal style is a perfect addition to our collection range this season and the edgier detailing of the multiple straps and buckles give it a very 'London' look."
The shoes are made from leather with a heavy buckle detailing, toughening up even the sweeter looks of the collection.
Ellie Goulding was sitting front row of this collection, expect to see her wearing the looks both on stage and on the red carpet.
I was invited to the PPQ show by official sponsors of London Fasion Week, Vodafone.
