Lily Aldridge once plucked her eyebrows so only "four hairs" were left.
The 32-year-old model has revealed she once overdid her ablutions and "over-tweezed" her facial feature to the point only a few hairs were left on each brow, but the catwalk icon was not fazed by the beauty blunder because her Italian genes meant "everything grew back" swiftly.
Speaking to Allure Online about the mishap, the brunette beauty - who has five-year-old daughter Dixie with her husband Caleb Followill - said: "In high school, I over-tweezed my brows until I had about four hairs left on each one. Thankfully, I'm Italian with thick hair, so everything grew back. And I went through a goth phase, which looked terrible on me."
And the fashion muse has revealed when she was a child she was desperate to have a bob haircut because "all" of the other girls had the style, but she hugely regrets that decision because she believes she looked like "one big circle".
She explained: "When I was a kid, I got a bob because all of the other girls on my soccer team with straight hair had one, and so I wanted one. Now I know girls with thick, curly hair should not get bobs. My hair was like one big circle."
Lily now prefers a "pretty, undone look" and will wash her dark tresses "every other day", but will avoid putting heat on her hair in favour of air-drying her locks.
She explained: "I like a pretty, undone look. So I wash my hair every other day so it doesn't get dried out, and I let it air-dry. If I want soft waves, I'll braid it first."
The Victoria's Secret Angel has revealed she will also make a body scrub out of coffee and coconut oil, as well as a "DIY" face mask out of greek yoghurt and honey to maintain her flawless skin.
Speaking about her beauty hacks, she said: "I love making a body scrub with ground-up coffee and coconut oil. It's really good for circulation, and it smells delicious. I also do a DIY Greek-yogurt-and-honey mask that softens your skin and helps reduce puffy eyes.
"Undereye patches are genius. From travelling, I get really puffy under my eyes. Klorane Smoothing and Relaxing Patches are a great ten-minute trick to look refreshed. They're perfect for moms running on no sleep."
