Lily Aldridge feels more "put together" when she wears perfume.
The 30-year-old model - who was announced as the face of Michael Kors' latest fragrance campaign Wonderlust earlier this year - has admitted fragrance is a vital part of her everyday beauty regime because it completes her outfit and leaves her feeling "luxurious".
Speaking to Hello! magazine about her beauty regime, the brunette beauty said: "Yes [ I wear perfume every day]. It's such an important step in my everyday beauty routine. It completes any look and feels luxurious.
"Perfume always makes me feel put together after a long day of travelling."
And the catwalk icon - who has starred in campaigns for luxury brands including Tommy Hilfiger, Coach an DJ Crew - has revealed she "sometimes" sprays her hair with the scent for an "extra statement".
She explained: "I tend to wear it on my wrists, but I sometimes spritz it in my hair for an extra statement."
Lily has revealed the smell of the "ocean mist" makes her feel nostalgic because it reminds her of her childhood home in California.
She said: "I grew up in California, so my first scent memory is the smell of the ocean mist. No matter where I go, that smell always makes me feel at home."
Meanwhile Lily - who has four-year-old daughter Dixie with her husband Caleb Followill - has admitted she would be "proud" of her child if she wanted to follow in her footsteps as a model, although her partner and Kings of Leon front man isn't as keen on the idea.
Speaking previously about her child's future, she said: "I'll support whatever she wants to do!
"I don't think my husband would want her anywhere near the runway. But I would be proud of her no matter what she does."
