Lily Aldridge is the new face of Levi's Made Crafted fall/winter 2018 collection.
The Victoria's Secret Angel has been chosen to work with the American clothing company, which is renowned for its denim jeans, on the new range, which includes a half cable knit and half denim trucker jacket, a pleated skirt and new 501 skinny jeans.
Lily is thrilled to be working with the brand because she has always been a Levi's girl.
In an interview with the collection's design director Nicolle Arbour for YouTube, she said: "Made and Crafted is cool because it's still very much Levi's; that classic, cool style but a little more fashion-forward, a little more elevated. I'm very much a jeans-and-tee girl but it's fun to have those daring pieces that can live in your closet forever and elevate your look or add a little something special."
During the chat with Nicolle, Lily also revealed that when she was given a personal tour of the Levi's archives she was delighted to discover a piece of art her father, British artist and illustrator Alan Aldridge, created for the company in the 1970s.
She said: "You guys found a piece of my dad's art from the 70s that he did for a Levi's ad. I had no idea, I was grateful to you guys to have this special moment. It was something I'll never forget."
Lily began her professional relationship with the brand in 2006 when she starred in the 'Walk The Line' commercial with Jamie Dorman - and the iconic advert helped Lily to make a name for herself on the fashion scene and also was the catalyst to her meeting her husband, Kings of Leon frontman Caleb Followill, in 2011.
The catwalk star - who shares six-year-old Dixie with the rocker - said: "It was the first kind of thing I experienced where people would recognise me, like, 'You're the girl from the Levi's commercial.'
"My husband actually recognised me at Coachella, he was like, 'That's the girl from the Levi's commercial.' "
