Victoria Beckham loves to "challenge" herself as a designer.
The 49-year-old fashion designer has joined forces with Breitling to launch a new watch collection, and Victoria has relished the experience of working with the luxury watchmaker.
Speaking to InStyle, Victoria explained: "Ultimately, I like to challenge myself, design-wise.
"[The inspiration] varies each season. It might be a movie, a piece of art, or an exhibition. It might just be as simple as a silhouette, something that I feel feels fresh, something that I desire."
The Chronomat 36 Victoria Beckham collection marks the first time that the watchmaker has collaborated with a designer in the company's 140-year history.
Victoria is thrilled to have worked with Breitling, adding her own inspirations and ideas to the mix.
The former pop star - who is married to soccer legend David Beckham - said: "I think it was just taking what Breitling do so well, and putting my little spin on that. And making, ultimately, watches that I, as a woman, desire to wear."
Asked what she looks for in a watch, Victoria replied: "I like a more masculine watch, but one that does have a sense of elegance and feminine feel."
Victoria added that she's "perpetually early" and that time is "precious" to her.
The designer - who shot to stardom in the 90s as part of the Spice Girls - said: "I like to be early. Someone said to me once actually, 'What is the ultimate in luxury?' And my answer was, 'Time.' Time is so precious. It's the ultimate luxury."
