QVC, the world's leading video and ecommerce retailer, polled over 2,000 people to find out how often they record their fashion 'look' and mark the launch of QVC Fashion Week - a week dedicated to showcasing the retailer's top fashion brands.

The research showed men are more likely to find themselves in front of the camera, posing for an average of 1,726 photographs a year, compared to just 1,388 for women. They also reign supreme as selfie Kings, taking 1165 selfies a year, compared to just 986 by women.

Young people take the crown as most papped generation with 18-24 year olds posing for 4,274 photographs a year, compared to just 533 for the over 55's. Over half (59%) of 18 - 24 year olds will strike more than five selfie poses a day whilst one in ten (11%) over 55s will take more than five selfies a day.
