Kylie Minogue has enlisted the help of fashion brand Marchesa to dress her for her upcoming tour.
The New York-based fashion house has created each of the stage outfits for the European Tour, Kiss Me Once, which kicks off in Liverpool tonight.
And this isn’t the first time Kylie has worked with the designers Georgina Chapman and Keren Craig, they created the beautiful, ethereal gown which she wore to the Met Gala earlier this year.
They told Vogue.co.uk: "When Kylie approached us to design her costume for her European tour, we jumped at the opportunity.
"Kylie is lovely to work with and we were thrilled to work with her again - this project was definitely a collaborative process. Kylie liked a gown that we designed for our spring/summer 2012 collection, and we used that as a starting point and began sketching a few options for her review."
The design duo admitted it was a challenge to create the elegant stage looks as they had to take into consideration Kylie's famously energetic dance routines when designing the collection.
They said: "We were careful to keep her needs in mind while designing, as her costume would need to be both comfortable and easy to move in for her performances."
Kylie admitted she is "thrilled" to have teamed up with the pair and is particularly fond a "stunning couture gown" they have designed, which creates a "beautiful moment" in the show.
She explained: "I'm thrilled to be collaborating with Marchesa.
"They have created a stunning couture gown, which absolutely shines during a beautiful moment in the show.
"Working with the Marchesa team has been a lot of fun. Georgina and Keren are true delights."
