Kristen Stewart and Nicolas Ghesquière
Kristen Stewart has often proclaimed her love for fashion designer Nicolas Ghesquière, and we’ve finally found out where it all stems from.
Kristen often comes across as the laidback girl, not particularly interested in fashion, but thanks to Nicholas she became the face of Balenciaga’s Florabotanica and now she’s set to front a Chanel campaign too.
In a new March issue of Marie Claire, Kristen describes her love for the designer: “I did a photo shoot with Bruce Weber when I was 14 for Interview magazine. I met Nicolas Ghesquière. I was blown away — fashion became less superficial in my eyes, though it wasn’t my thing.”
“A couple of years later, he called me up. He had stuck out [to me] as an artist. Fashion has the best and worst people. The gems stick out.
“He was a designer I wanted to be around. He was so creative. If I have to walk red carpets, if I have to be in fashion. Then I want to be with him.”
Now the designer sits at the helm of Louis Vuitton we expect to see her sat front row during Paris Fashion Week and maybe a campaign to follow soon too.
