Kourtney Kardashian says exercising her been helping her manage her anxiety.
The 36-year-old reality television star has had an eventful few months following the end of her relationship with Scott Disick, but has been sticking to a rigorous workout regime to get through the difficult times.
She wrote on her app: "When I was pregnant with Reign [Disick], I knew that I was going to go hard at working out afterwards. I couldn't wait to feel strong and in shape again.
"I didn't know that I would be going through a breakup and just an overall crazy year. Everyone deals with hard times in their lives differently. I'm generally not a nervous person but I get anxious."
Mother-of-three Kourtney continued to reveal that she aims for around five workouts per week, and has found the sessions calming for her mind.
She said: "I try to exercise 5 days a week. My anxiety is always worse in the mornings so that's when I schedule my workouts. I usually start with a quick run or jumping rope to warm up. I have to do something fast to really kill [my anxiety].
"People are very quick to judge others by appearance but you truly don't know what someone's motivation is or what is going on inside them. For me, exercise is as much about my body as it is about calming my mind."
