Khloé Kardashian uses a cream for horse hooves to strengthen her nails.
The 32-year-old 'Keeping Up With the Kardashians' star has admitted a manicure gives her "life", but to protect her talons from becoming brittle and breaking after enduring a lot of beauty treatments she has to use a lotion designed for farm animals to nourish and toughen her nails.
The television personality shared her beauty hack on her website khloewithak.com. Speaking about her beauty essential, she said: "A good mani gives me life, but if you change your polish as much as I do, a girl has got to take some precautions!
"This cream from Barielle is so crazy because it was originally made for horse hooves. No wonder it works so well to strengthen my weak nails."
And Khloé has revealed she exceeds the number of times the product should be used per day, and always carries a jar of the product with her wherever she goes, which sees her keep one in her car and in her gym bag.
She explained: "You're supposed to use this two times a day, but I use it more. I keep a jar in my car, in my bathroom and even in my gym bag. Use it on clean hands. I also make sure to put it on my nails before I get acrylics added on!"
The former 'Kocktails with Khloé' host has revealed she had to switch to the stronger product because previous oils and cuticle creams she had used were not effective.
She explained: "I used to use nail oils and cuticle creams, but they did nothing for my nails. I get acrylics a lot - and gel manis, too - so it has to be a really tough formula."
