Meanwhile, Katy has admitted she was excited to work with the renowned company and launch her own collection for the label earlier this year because they are a "super classic" brand.
Speaking previously about her make-up line and what she aimed to achieve with her collection, she said: "I obviously wanted a variety of classic colours, and colours that would fit all of the different skin tones, but for me, I always push the envelope and try for a unique look.
"I know CoverGirl has been around forever, and they're super classic, but, for instance, they never had a black lipstick, and I'm like, 'Guys, it's 2016!'"
And the musician has revealed she wanted to push boundaries with her capsule, which followed a feline theme.
She explained: "I just need a lipstick to make my face come to life!
"I wanted to push the envelope with CoverGirl. You know, a black lipstick or a blue mascara is very Tumblr - I told them, this is what's happening online, this is what everyone's Instagramming."
