The 42-year-old model has admitted she avoided applying talcum powder to squeeze her slender frame into the rubber garment in fear of turning the popular baby care product into a white paste, and has revealed the secret to slipping in and out of the item is using a more lubricating substance.

Speaking to Grazia magazine about her tips for changing into the show stopping wardrobe staple, she said: "Haven't you seen 'Friends' when he does the talc? No, not talc because when you sweat it then goes to paste. You need to lube and there's a spray and you polish it up."

And the blonde beauty has revealed she found the dress when she was stuck in traffic en route to the Olympics, although she had to browse inside the store after seeing the window display.

She explained: "I found this shop as I was driving to the Olympics [to appear in the ceremony] I swear it was all traffic. I was late, but I saw this shop and it was just latex in the window and I was like, 'Stop the car'. I jumped out. [The owner] used to live with Riccardo Tisci and she's a couturier latex woman - she's amazing. I got one made for a friend."

And the catwalk icon - who was scouted at the age of 14 and has since fronted campaigns for luxury fashion houses Burberry, Balmain and Givenchy - has revealed she much prefers to scour the stores for her clothes instead of trailing through e-stores.

Speaking about her shopping preferences, the mother of one -who has 13-year-old daughter Lila Grace with her former partner Jefferson Hack - said: "I'm not a massive fan of online shopping. My daughter is, so she's getting me into it."
