Kate Moss has "started" to use night cream to prevent the appearance of ageing.
The 42-year-old supermodel - who signed to Storm Models at the age of 14 - has admitted she "never" used to apply skincare products to rejuvenate her skin until now, because she didn't use to worry about looking older.
Speaking to Globe and Mail about her new regime and the recent cosmetic overhaul, the blonde beauty - who joined forces with the Japanese skincare brand Decorté last year - said: " I mean I now use night cream - and I never did! There are things that I never used to even think about that I now realize are part of life. You want to take care of what you've got."
However, Kate - who has fronted campaigns for luxury fashion houses Burberry, Givenchy and Balmain - doesn't think people are beautiful just because they are pretty.
The mother of one - who has 13-year-old daughter Lila Grace with her ex-partner Jefferson Hack - explained: "I've always thought that beautiful people are the people with character, who are beautiful from the inside. Characters are really beautiful to me because I've been surrounded by models all my life, and sometimes they're not beautiful people, even when they look pretty."
Meanwhile, Kate has admitted she still fears "every season" will be her last catwalk show, and is surprised when is booked for another shoot, although she is grateful for every campaign because it makes her realize she has still "got it".
Kate - who boasts almost three decades at the helm of the fashion industry - said: "Every season, I'm like, Who knows if I'm going to get another job? But I've had a really good run. And then people start calling and I'm like, 'Wow! I've still got it!' I'm always thinking, 'My goodness, I got booked again!' So I am really happy to still be working."
