Kate Hudson loves her "natural" highlights.
The 35-year-old actress had her blonde locks freshened up by Sally Hershberger colourist, Cassondra Kaeding, prior to walking the red carpet at the Golden Globes on Sunday (11.01.15) and is said to be a fan of keeping them as "natural" looking as possible.
Kaeding shared: "She loves the natural beach blonde look!"
The 'How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days' star - who recently split from fiancé Matt Bellamy - looked breathtaking in a cleavage-baring Versace white gown with crystal embellishment and wore her hair in a "classic" up-do for the annual awards ceremony.
ghd stylist David Babaii explained to the New York Daily News newspaper: "A modern-day chignon. It's a look that works well on straight or curly hair. It's the perfect classic style."
Babaii also advised fans of Kate's elegant hairstyle on how to achieve the look for themselves.
He added: "Start with a standard blow-dry, then part hair down the middle, dividing it into three sections: two in front and one in the back. Starting at the back, straighten each section with a ghd Eclipse iron. Pull all the hair into a very tight bun at the bottom of the neck, and use bobby pins to secure it."
